This policy explains what is stored in your browser when you visit modulohouse.eu, who puts it there and how you can remove it. It describes what this website actually does — not what websites do in general.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep. The next time you open the same site, the browser sends the file back, which is how a site can recognise that this is not your first visit.
Most cookies hold nothing that identifies you by name. What they hold is an identifier — a long random string that says "the same browser was here before".
What this website sets on its own
The pages of this website set no cookies of their own until you choose. There is no advertising pixel and no social media widget. The only optional tool is Google Analytics, described below, and it runs only if you accept it.
Three things are stored in your browser while you use the site, and none is a cookie in the tracking sense:
- Your answer to the cookie banner (“mh-consent”, in local storage), so that the banner does not appear on every page. It is kept for 12 months, then you are asked again.
- If a form refuses to send because something was filled in incorrectly, what you already typed is kept for the moment it takes to show you the error, so you do not have to type it again. It is not sent anywhere and disappears when the form goes through.
- The administration area at /admin keeps a login session for the people who edit the site. If you are not one of them, it never applies to you.
What you may receive from modulohouse.eu
The previous modulohouse.eu website, which ran on WordPress until October 2026, set cookies for Google Analytics and for the Meta (Facebook) pixel. Those cookies were registered for the whole domain, so a browser that visited the old site may still carry them.
They are listed in the table below so that the picture is complete. These pages do not set them and do not read them; they expire on their own, or you can delete them as described below.
Google Analytics — only with your consent
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand which pages are read and where people give up. It loads only after you click “Accept” in the banner; until then no request is sent to Google and no cookie is set. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. The data is used only for statistics — not for advertising — and is kept for 14 months. Google may process it outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, measurement stops and the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.
How to remove them
Every browser can show you what is stored and delete it, usually under Settings → Privacy. You can also block cookies entirely, or only those from other websites.
Deleting them has no effect on this site: nothing here depends on a cookie to work. You may have to fill a form in once more if you delete them in the middle of sending it.
